Hey,
I bought Rayman Origins for PC from amazon downloads recently. It plays great with an xbox controller when doing single player, but i can't get it to recognize player 2's controller for coop. When I look in the controls section of the settings, all the key bindings are undefined. This is despite the fact that player 2 controller light is on (and recognized as controller 2). Has anybopdy gotten 2 xbox controllers to work for Rayman local coop? If so, how? And could this be a bug with the amazon version of the game? It doesn't seem to install normally- no windows short cut or anything.
Thanks!
-Sam
Its probably not supported, I'm using a very modern one, the 8bitdo SF30 Pro which is a very versatile controller.. Try finding and installing the latest driver for it manually. Does windows pick it up as a generic controller? Does it pick it up at all? You can try using joy2key which maps buttons to keys on the keyboard to trick the game into using it. However I tried that and it did not work for my issue but it could work for yours
Hey ozonethegreat,
The controller you are describing is not on our list of officially supported controllers for Rayman Origins (listed in the system requirements). I therefore cannot guarantee that we would be able to get the controller to function as desired with the game.
If you have an Xbox 360 controller to hand, I would recommend trying this with the game, as this is a supported controller. It will allow you to check that the game is registering controller inputs correctly.
Hello,
in my case i have connected to the PC a Logitech F710 (wireless controller set on DirectInput) and an Xbox 360 Wired controller.
The F710 works, but the Xbox 360 doesn't (even when trying to set controls, pressing any buttons on it doesn't get recognized by Rayman.
If i only connect the Xbox 360, it works.
