Not looking good for vehicles...
Why don't you play the single player without using vehicles if you love meaningless challenge.Originally Posted by c-swain Go to original post
You must admit however, a D-Day map is always top of the popular lists, and without machinegun bunkers, it'll not be the same experience.
AI, personally, I couldn't care less about. I don't want bears and tigers attacking us while we're trying to rank up...
But it should be up to us as the loyal fanbase, who care about the franchise, about whether we want to camp a machinegun bunker, run people over in jeeps or just run around with a friend planting mines around the map for enemy vehicles to be obliterated when they pass over them.
Can't you see epic sea battles, trying to shoot down incoming waves of enemy ships and trying to reach your boats to assault the enemy island? Would make for epic attack and defend scenario. Without vehicles, a lot of creative maps have been binned because we, the community, cannot conjure such epicness.
We need to make boring, non-waterbased maps (unless you fancy a long swim) with no set weapon caches or rewards for reaching secret areas.
Maps that can no longer be made to their full potential: D-Day, Helms Deep/Minas Tirith/Isengard. Purely because turrets are lacking, vehicles and weapon caches![]()
Don't get me wrong, they can and probably will still be made, but it'll be ghost maps with no real... Adventure or excitement to them. Just rush and shoot... Yay? </rant> I do hope a developer or Ubisoft team member can confirm whether or not they'll look into this at least, be nice to hear an update, by the looks of things, we've been asking about this for a while now, tweeting, facebooking and all!
PS. And who can say no to a map with gliders in it?! Flying down to a deserted town in the middle of the map and blasting each other. Glider maps ftw! xD
Wow. Couldn't agree more!Originally Posted by DannyKerr Go to original post
