To repeat what Celeon wrote, LOL, the ears. Good looking puppy. And the ears are still crooked.

Looking good Wern. Looks like he's losing his new born fur. How's training going?

Very well indeed. He's already housebroken! Smart dog! He already knows what "inside" means and runs to the door every time I say it. Same thing with "come-on", he comes to me. He knows "outside" or "pee-pee" same thing. He's still learning "down" and, for some unexplainable reason, he really fears my youngest daughter and listens to her best.
He'll sit by, or scratch on the door when he needs to go out. Unbelievable level of intelligence, he has.

    My new dog

Well, it wasn't planned or what I had in mind, but we now have a new member of the family. A former co-worker of my step-son was keeping the dog for her dad who had a stroke and couldn't care for him any longer. She and her hubby just had their first child and baby, dog, small apt just wasn't working. They had tried to give him to some of their relatives, but nobody wanted him. She called and asked if he was interested or knew someone who might be.
When everyone at my place found out what the dad had named the dog, everyone said it was fate and we had to take him. Yes, the dog's name is Rhett, same as mine. He's a 2 yr old full boxer, weighing in at 60 lbs.

Congratulations BigDog1701a. Nice looking Boxer. They're considered one of the best Family Dog breeds around and are especially noted for their attachment to children. I've even heard some dog experts warn that parents should take special care if disciplining their kids in front of a Boxer because the dog will become protective of the children.
I'm happy to see you have recued a dog from (possibly) a lesser fate. My other dog is a rescue dog, half Akita and half German Shepherd. He's a beautiful dog and I'm sure you'll get many years of love, devotion and loyalty out of him. Glad to hear that you found each other.

OK, the last photo I posted was actually from the last batch that I posted on page 2. Here are some more recent pics. He's come a long way since I first brought him home.

    BEFORE:

    AND NOW:

At almost 4½ months old, he's beginning to look more like the big boys.

Awww, he's not a cute widdle puppy no more. Now he's a big good looking puppy. Pretty dog Wern, looks real friendly too.

My latest puppy pictures. These were taken at 5 months old. He's about 45 pounds here. Starting to look like a bruiser, and bark like one too:
