Far Cry 3 Trailer, What will they show? | Forums

Most people should now know that a new trailer is coming out for Far Cry 3 on the 16th February. The main question is, What do you think they will show?

I think they will have one or 2 scenes in the trailer where you see some vehicles (maybe even show driving)
I also think they will show the Stealth, Scenery and weaponry.
It might be something completely different like a flashback in Vaa's memory with a bit of the narrative of Vaas, that might be the reason for the picture shown below.

I think this time we'll see a multiplayer scenario

Never say never, but I would be amazed if they showed MP at this stage, it typically needs a very solid build to showcase so is traditionally almost the last thing they talk about.

I would expect the narrative to be expanded upon and other new/unique features to be sneak peaked.
A lot of people went crazy over the knife action in the E3 trailer, that was new to FC so if there are other innovations up their sleeves I would expect to start to see them once the marketing onslaught begins.

Of course if they have any unusual marketing gimics they might introduce them now, remember Ruben in the marketing of FC2?
Classic case of marketing outperforming the final game IMHO but still great PR...

maybe you'll be able to capture that gun after the helicopter crash and do that.!?!

voss does look a bit diffrent but that doesnt mean he is younger , maybe he just looks diffrent (keep in mind graphics are constantly upgrading ! )

hmmmm..... the graphics from the picture seems amazing though ! best graphics so far !

I wonder if that picture is CGI or actual game footage...

game footage !! , i donno what CGI means but if it means concept art its wrong ! if it was concept art you would see scetches !!!!!!! besides its obvious its game graphics !

what i mostly expect from that 16th february trailer is a release date im like 85% sure they'll give us a release date at the end of the video ..

I agree with Cuz multiplayer is one of the last things they show . to my knowledge the first 2 or 3 commercials for cod didnt show multiplayer just single player same with bf3. At first i thaught it might be voss's younger brother but he has same scar it seems. I think their going to show brody later in the game with brody having the upper hand along with a few new back drops and weapons maybe even another crazy jungle thug. I hope they show more weapons and a variety of buildings that are non shanty and vehicles. Im thinking were going to find out more about the story for a while and then multiplayer and lastly yes or no on the editor.But who knows crytek's war face wont be out for a long time and they have already shown at least an hour of multiplayer footage.
