Yes, we're graphic designers we have tons of tutorials on the homepage to help you, And we'd love to help you become a better graphics artist. First off though, what program do you use? Gimp, photoshop?

He's correct. Also, what I can tell from right now is-lose the box. Make a border using alpha channels. I'll see if I can post a video for you, and then what we'll do is give you some challenges to bolster yourself.
