    Disable In-game/Inane Comments

Does anyone else get frustrated with the useless comments we get whilst doing the exercises. As you will know, each workout is split up into routines which are made up of 3 exercises. We get a summary comment after we complete a routine (3 exercises). Why is it when I do a flawless routine, except for one error (which was due to the camera tracking anyway), I hear a comment like, "Keep up the work to improve your scores"? Really motivating... not! Basically you put in a close to perfect routine and you get told that if I were to put in a bit more effort I could improve my performance.

What is really annoying is that if you do really bad in a routine (I did this as an experiment), she tells you how well you have done and what a good effort it was.

I'm sure we've all experienced the terribly inconsistent motion tracking with floor exercises like push-ups. Sometimes it gets it spot on, other times nothing is good enough. When the camera cannot track me properly the stupid woman keeps saying, "We always do this sideways," or "Do it sideways like your trainer."

I'm sure other users have experienced similar annoyances.

@Ubisoft: For the sake of my sanity - and diminished enjoyment of the game - please give us the option to turn-off the commentary.

I'm all for choice. I think it would be great if we had the choice to mute the trainer voice especially after doing the workouts etc. many times. In fact a relative volume control on all the game sound elements would greatly improve the game in my opinion.

But I do sort of wonder why I hear such adamant complaints about the gentle nudges from the female trainer voice and no such complaints about the very obtuse abrasive comments and grudging compliments made by the male trainer voice in the "Boot Camp" classes. Hmmm, why is that?

I was going to mention the Boot Camp as you're right about the differences. However, the Boot Camp is comedic. It doesn't matter how good or bad you are doing you get the same caustic script. It doesn't patronise me by trying to correct something that doesn't need correcting.

same here, they told me i have to go deeper in my squat in squat kick combo.. and i have to move the arm to the side.. i'm doing exactly like the trainer.. when i try to be faster than the trainer sometimes it works.. i think its a bug

OR when i don't move my chest in front, they tell me i have to spread my legs more.. it took me some time to know my real fault

OR after every 3. exercise: "Pause", "Let's do a break", "That's enough" *aaarrrhhh* for 3 seconds??

i also would really appreciate a mute feature.. i can't here it anymore..

The only complaint I have about the female trainer's voice is on Class #3 of the Cardio Boxing workout (equivalent to the Platinum Cardio Boxing Workout in YSFE) because there are some obvious miscues in that workout...such as when she says "other side" almost immediately when the routine starts when we are supposed to be squatting. The other flaw is about 9 or 10 minutes in, and she says "last one"...however there are three more sets to go. Very annoying. I have a video showing all this that I've shared with Ubi tech support.

I know I'm sounding like a broken record, but I've totally given up now with the trainer's voice during the Workouts and, for fear of doing some regrettable damage to my TV or Xbox, I have to mute her. I appreciate for people new to the game that the advice on how to do the exercises is helpful, but when the problem is due to the unreliable tracking then it ceases to be helpful and becomes annoying.

I know that other members have mentioned this in other threads, but the tracking does not work perfectly. That is a fact and is not entirely the fault of the game as much as the limitations of the technology. I take my exercising seriously and I am a perfectionist. There is no room for mistakes in my routines; I simply would not advance to a more demanding/longer routine until I can do the earlier ones flawlessly. I can live with seeing the occasional scores below 100% because, as I commented with the previous game, I see this more a measure of the tracking effectiveness, not my accuracy. However, when I do something perfectly I do not want to keep hearing what I should be doing to improve. At least with the Classes it is scripted and you do not receive useless advice.

Please give us the option to turn off the advice in the Workouts.

Of course, I am beginning to wonder if it is even worth voicing these concerns here because there never seems to be any official response. Some members have received the occasional advice to submit issues to support, but we all know how that goes: you receive a reply saying that it has been forwarded to the appropriate channels then 24 hours later your ticket is closed and you never hear any more.

All the evidence to date suggests that the developers have no part in what goes on here and simply do not take any pride in their product. To be told by moderators that everything is passed on, but not receive any responses is nothing more than empty words. So a serious question to any moderators or other official representatives of Ubisoft: What is the purpose of these forums? Is it just a place for members to freely discuss the game or can we expect interaction from the developers? If we knew the answer to that question it would very much change the way we made our posts and in some way temper our expectations.

It might be hard to imagine, but I am a fairly mild mannered man. However, in re-reading some of my posts I sometimes come across as a right grumpy old git.

Oh, yes. I, too, find it infuriating, especially this "facing sideways, like your coach" and "this excercise is done on the floor" ones when I'm doing the pushups or the mountain climb. Where else could I be doing it, on the ceiling? I really feel like squashing her stupid virtual non-existing head like a tomato at moments like these. I partly get this issue round by switching to another language, like Spanish, por example, which I don;t understand. It helps a bit
