    Wearing good Xtrainers or running shoes will look after your ankles, knees, back and neck- this is a long term thing that you'd notice after a few years and save you from that potential replacement op. Use a yoga matt to protect your carp

    I go barefeet, should hopefully mean my feet get a bit stronger too. I have the idea in my head that if I need shoes to do exercise inside then I am stomping my feet too hard which would probably lead to injuries, going barefoot would mean you would quickly adjust to do less stomping or at least that's how my theory goes.

    It's all down to preference I guess, if you are more comfortable with shoes then go for that. I doubt one is better than the other.
