Announcing release date, confirming PC version and a multiplayer beta | Forums

The weeks are really starting to pile up, why no PC information? When can we expect some? It would boggle my mind, if this wasn't Ubisoft.

Be thankful you're not waiting for Delta Force Angel Falls. Us Novalogic fans have been kept in the dark for over 4 years. Weeks are nothing.

My question: How will the FS multiplayer experience differ from GRO?

GR:FS be a best amazing game in the year .. not any games also, whatever i think or any one need that .. to ubisoft devs team take this massage from PC Gamers ......

We look for making a PC version at same time release XBOX 360 or PS3 or..... XNoX or any X

Yes this would interest me also quite much after I know GRO Beta I got interest in general about this games.
At least you don't need to pay anything after you got the game GRFS. In GRO you can put real money onto your account to buy weapons and so other stuff.

The thing of the dedicated servers would be also interesting to me like for many.
Also important is if there will be some, will they be hosted by Ubisoft so that they self control them ?
Or will the user pay for a so called "Trusted server hosting company" (I hate that quite much) and control thier own servers ?
Or will every usual people will be able to host his server on his own root-server after some kind of a registration ?

The 2nd concept is a No-Go for me as their will be some people who will put their money into this quite expensive "Trusted server hosting companies" and will enforce their own stupid rules of game like no camping... and whatever. And not every serveradmin will be willing to pay them for a server when they have thier own root-servers.

So I can accept only to the 1st or 3rd concept (1st only if servers have long enought operating duration).
Requiring registration of server IPs with uplay accounts could give Ubisoft also the ability to remove stats boosting servers or whatever could appear.

Hopefully they will also integrate PunkBuster or something similar.

It would be nice if someone from UBI popped in once in a while and said "Hi, we care about our PC customers too." Other platforms have been getting information for years now, We've only got one (greatly appreciated) mention in the video that confirmed the PC version. It would be nice if there was some communication, even something as simple as "We'll talk about the PC version after the console version launches." Anything would be appreciated more than the current wall of silence.

Hi EvilPixieGrrr, thanks for posting! Is the release date at that link you posted accurate for the PC version?

Any idea when we will get more information? Its been a very vague "later" since they announced FS, which was literally years ago now.

You're welcome! The site is the only info I have regarding the release of the PC version, so I'm assuming that it's accurate since it's from the official site. I don't know exactly when more information will be available, I'm hoping very soon though. I wish I could offer more to you all but I can't.
