There is a very interesting poll at M4T with ages of the community.
Since I fall into the very last section (oldest)it seems that there are just a few old timers around. (60+)
Having just got properly connected to the world (broadband) here in the sticks, I was wondering if anyone could suggest a home for an "old timer"!?
I have only once explored HLobby and the experience lasted about 4 minutes!
When you reach my age, reflexes, situational awareness etc. are not be the same as when I started my IRL aviation career, so all the sharp cookies amongst you will run rings around me with yelps of glee!
Having flown IL-2 for two years using AI, I am not totally in the dark, just need to fly with other slightly less demanding types, good sense of humour, probably not too serious and the British trait of being able to laugh at oneself.
Any offers considered for this high mileage retired airframe driver!
