Cool pics.
It's on my list. Will pro'lly wait until the sales. Uncharted 3 (PS3) pretty high up there, too. Still much fun to be had with Witcher 1 & 2, although Rise of Flght is hogging my gaming time at the mo'. Lost touch with Roma Surrectum II's latest release - must put that right. Last I saw, was due out shortly.
I'm not into RPG's normally, first one i've bought for a decade.Originally posted by FlatSpinMan:
I'm not at all into RPG's but this one does sound really good. The screenshots look good but I'm sure when it's in motion and dynamically lit it'd look incredible.
Bit hilly.
I'm getting 40-60 fps maxed out, and your right, in motion when your playing its something else, the screenshots don't really do it justice.
I am enjoying Skyrim very much. I got it the day of release. My older two sons are also enjoying it very much albeit on a console.
I am very glad that Bethesda found a way to increase the view distance. It's hard to believe how far away you can see things now.
Morrowind, Oblivion and now Skyrim (and Il2 of course) are on my list of all time favorite games. There is just so much "replayability" on games that have so much good content.
I did rather meanly laugh my *** off when i saw it on my friends PS3 the other day, looks like poo compared to a decent PC![]()
I could start Skyrim again, and play it as a different type of character, and it would be a totally different experience from what i've had as a pure mage.
Level 55 mages are good fun though, so many different ways to kick ***!
True but for me, nothing beats sneaking around and picking off bad guys with a bow.Originally posted by thefruitbat:

I hope that they increase the distance an arrow registers a hit.
If you hadn't noticed, the arrow flies for a long distance but will not register a hit after
so far even if you can still see it flying and "hitting" your target. It just passes through.

I have a rather nice bow i made for myself, but, since i have the perk which means my magic is quite to others, muffle spell, plus invisibility spell, if i'm going to sneak, which i do from time to time, a dagger to the back with x30 damage is preferred, or double incinerate from distance![]()
Although my favourite at the moment is to sneak into say a forsworn camp, and then cast one of the master level illusion spells, which causes anyone under level 45 to attack each other, and sit back as they all kill each other, and then pick off the survivor.
