You guys do realize that a tall can of beer fits perfectly in the smoke canisters on the side of the turret? It can't hurt to keep an emergency six pack on both sides of the turret.

Jlf i think you miss the point I have a colleague of mine from Texas, his folks have a ranch somewere near Corpus Chisty and he also spent his youth on horse back and around catlle...(By the way the gentleman in the horse is my dad)so last summer he came to stay for 2 weecks with us in Portugal and I took him ridind you know... a real COWBOY oh man I'm still laughing...gimme a minute and ill be allright
...well anyway...we have a "Monte"...something like an "Hacienda" and my father his retired and lives there most of the time, so we have some horses which my father breeds and some haaaa... "cows" well it was the time to separate the bulls and take them to a "cercado"(enclosure) so that we could choose the ones to be sold for Bullfights. We had 134 heads last summer....so I take MIKE along for the day, well he did insist that he had to help being a Cowboy and all...
i'm sorry ....i'm laughing my head off here...

...well little did he know that in order to separate the bulls we have to drive the heard into this "cercado" and once inside a few men atract a bull at a time and drive him out to another smaller cercado while the rest try to drive the cows out to the field, for this we use a "vara" or "pampilho" wich is a wood shaft 250cm long up to 300cm, and on one end it has an iron spike.

...so I give Mike a "vara" and he looks at me and tell's me that in texas you use nothing but a "lasso" to play with the "nice little cows" well being Portuguese i am a true host and if my guest wishes a "lasso" ...i give him one
Now I got to say that in horsemanship Mike has really proven himself for as soon as the first bull charges him he flew like the wind in front of the bull but being a stuborn TEXAN he had to have another go while my dad is laughing is *** off and telling the boys to let him go so off goes mike...galloping like a true cowboy...(whille we stay a SAFE distance away )...he choses "VENTURA" a 750kg bull and rides straight at him(what was he thinking???? ) and the bull charges straight at him, at this point mike is ridding head on to the bull so we saw the danger and charge after him...NOW for the horse he was ridding MY horse "SANTANA" a 11 year old stallion of pure breed, and the horse KNOWS BEST then aproach a bull head on, so the horse veers to the side and makes a "cabriola" wich in turn leaves Mike the cowboy on his face in the mud with a charging bull coming to pay his respects so Mike decides to show us the "Texan way" of running for the trees we were impressed he was really good at that...
we did drive the bull away, the 8 of us and Mike did get the horse back but he somehow was very quiet the rest of the day

this is the way we do it... this pics were taken in the farm last year just before we rode the bulls to a "largada" (the bulls are let free in the streets of the village)

"VENTURA" is the wildest bull we got, a good reproductor and has managed to gore my horse once, if not for the intervention of my dad and brother he would have killed the horse and probably me. THIS species is FERAL WILD, not possible to be domesticated and its ancestor the bos taurus ibericus was also wild al tho not FERAL. YOU DO NOT PET THIS ANIMMALS!

Being from Texas let me tell you how it is done.....you get in your 2000 Kg pickup, drive to the market, put what is left of the critter in a bag, and go home and BBQ it.

klcarrol you don't know what youre saying the MAMA SAN is the most terrible criter in the face of the planet
the snake eaters just dive to the next hole in the walls that they cn find as soon as a MAMA SAN aproaches...they even spit at you and have this terrible shrill voice that goes "AIHAAAA" and call any one in the service a "quai lho" wich means red devil in Mandarin...hmmmm i see you have not been in the military
