I noticed that there is a v304m.exe patch in the ubisoft ftp site. What is this for and should I install the patch after installing v303m?

That means that the v304m.exe is not part of the patches to be installed. But anyone know what this patch is for? There must be some kind of fixes that's why they made this patch?

The patches for this game are mainly aircraft addons. As far as i remember, the 3.04 didn't have any significant bug fixes, but a lot of planes.

The next big change was the 4.01 with a few more planes, but mainly a much newer flight model.

The last one is 4.02 which is more of a patch, than an addon. Bug fixes mainly, and two new variants of existing planes.

Anything essential in the 3.04 patch is also included as part of the much larger 4.01 patch. You will not miss anything if you skip 3.04

Neural_Dream has it backwards; 3.04 was a very minor "bug fix" patch. The 4.01 patch updated every file that 3.04 did before it, so installing 3.04 before 4.01 is pointless.

I checked this all out by unzipping the PF patches to individual folders to see what each one contains.
