I was just wondering this, because ubisoft lately doesn't give a turd about rayman. I mean they haven't really announced a new game and there hasen't been a good rayman gaam since 2003!
I mean do they secretely still care about one their first best franchises?!

It's there to keep **some** fans in contact with each other in case they haven't found RaymanPC yet. Also note that the Rabbids forum gets empty too but that's only because they pretty much moved all that to facebook.
Now stop whining.

your not going to like this, but despite his large fanbase, Rayman wasn't selling. They've turned to Rabbids, because psycho bunnies sell. The reason that they still have this forum is that they appear to slowly be bringing Rayman up again, starting with Rayman 1 on the DSi.

The forum is still up because there is still activity here, albeit not as much as it used to. Nonetheless, shutting down an active forum is nonsensical, especially when they loose nothing on keeping it up here, don't you think.

I would really like to know where you got this information. All three main Rayman games sold very well, especially the first one.

LOL if this was Japan then yeah that'd be kinda true, but we're talking about Europe and the US here.
Yeah Rayman 1 on the PS1 was like, one of the biggest selling PS1 games of all time at least in the UK. In contrast, apparently there was a 50% drop in the sales of their DS games sometime about last year. The reason could be anything from the games just being bad [eg Imagine Weddings even my sister thought that sucked] but they blamed piracy. :B

I would blame the fact that the games were bad.
Really. Who'd want to spend time pirating Imagine games. :I Much less buy them. With money.

by wasn't selling, I mean the younger generation bought more games with rabbids. rayman was selling, but the rabbids were selling better. The younger croud responded less with "the limbless guy's still cool," and more with "BUNNIES LOL." so they're going with bunnies only...for the time being

Many game publishers usually blame piracy today, just to attract the press and government in order to get their support in the end.
Completely denying the fact that you're still publishing to consumers that can choose what to spend their money on..

i always thought that this forum was still here because ubisoft didn't care about it enough to take it down.
