For steam users getting the same error message I was getting
Ubisoft Game Launcher:
Error Code 1."
Download the Game Launcher from this link. It will then ask you for your key to confirm.
I launched Steam and launched the game so I could copy my game key. I then closed that down and pasted the game key into the Game Launcher. It is now working for me.
I will be honest for any Ubisoft people reading these forums, this was not a good impression on me. I've waited since August after I pre-ordered the game to be able to play. I patiently waited 4 months only to have this problem appear when I tried to start up the game. I would think if I had to wait this long, the startup process should be flawless. You guys have had enough time to make sure it works. If I wasn't already a comp tech, I am sure I would be returning the game and getting my money back. Ridiculous

Yes.. after 20 emails and 3 phonecalls.. i got my download link.. XD after downloading it i found out i even received some free DlC. game runs great in single player( played 15 min) i tested my 460 gtx with 4x AA and v sync of and got like 160 fps in the test with a minimum of 100 fps. hope it runs well now. And my advice to you all that dont have the download yet.. keep trying.. make a support ticket and keep track of it. Anyone wanna get together for a match let me know

ok i download the HAWX2_DLC5_Setup.exe
than i put run

like what game version??
i even got a hawx2 i bought a download.txt file with 23 bits this is ridiculs

i cant understand this mess up.. and im waiting to play hawx 2 from 11-11-10 today is 23-11-10 and i still cant download the ***ing game.
Im tired of thiis!!

Hi again everyone,
wizard228---> You are right, I did not get the idea. I downloaded the game and it is giving me some silly error about damaged files during installation. i.e. I still have a problem.
But you all hear this,
I checked my E-mail today and I found a message from Ubi telling me that they feel sorry and as a compensation they are offering me All in one pack for free. I download the DLC5. I run it and exactly what jcardoso_47 got. This is really stupid. Any solution for this one?

I'm done with ubisoft!
The only person thats willing to help from tech support can't do anything because I ordered the game outside the US... Tech support from my own region just sends prefab mails telling me problem solved...
I'm trying to fix this from day 1 (11-11), no luck so far and I'm not gonna try any further.
So long Ubisoft, I'm out of here and won't return to your shops.
good luck to everyone else spending hard earned money on this ridiculous company.

Good news for me, a new code should be sent because the new downloads have the correct url to download the game.
I have been able too to download the Hawx2_DLC5 as "dedommagement".
To Scale1978:What I've done is sent them a screenshot of the download page showing the download.txt link (French support) and the key.
Also, answer all mails they send you so that the problem isn't passed in "solved".

hawx2 dlc5 is a dlc they gave us for the wait.. its an add on for the game. if u dont have the game downloaded yet make sure to send ubisoft a screenshot of your gamekey.
then when u receive a new code u can buy the game again (for free). download should work.
if u install the game u have to run the update that is out. after update run dlc5 and once that is installed go in the game and enter the code.
if u have another code (like the one for playing the 8 bit game) u can enter hit there also. after this u should have the game plus the dlc and 8bit dlc.

Sadly, CircusMidget_TS was not able to help as the currency used for my purchase is euros.
I mailed Ubi again yesterday with a looong text containing lots of email IDs and phone IDs so they could see how ****ed off i was.
Got a free dlc code from them today which made me laugth ... sent me a free DLC code but no full game code to replace the broken one ?
Also, they say they're not able to help (ubisoft.custhelp.com) but tell me i should send the message to those from shop.ubi.com.
Done, waiting for a reply.

I'm french too and sent them tons of emails untill i got the free dlc code ( just like everyone it seems).
Where did you go to ask for a new full game code ?
