Now that I have finally got 512MB of ram,I'm really looking at picking up PF.

I'm running windows98,Pentium4 at 2.1Ghz,512 of ram,and my video card is an Nvidea G4Ti4200-dt64 with 64mb of ram.

    Now a few questions...

Will a merged install(FB+AEP+PF) run on my system?

I'm running FB+AEP patched to v2.04.Can I install PF into this as is,or will I be better off un-installing the lot and re-installing it all?

If I install PF as a stand alone, does UberDeamon have a version of his software for PF stand alone?

    Thanks....

Yep...should be fine. Just don't expect to operate in Perfect mode. Only in Excellent mode. But it should work nicely.

You may still have a few studders.

Cause the 512 memery is still to small and when you host the memery will fill up very fast and you may only be online 45 min and then room crashes

Your processer can take it but it takes 1000+ to run this big game good.

Yes you can run the game: in Excellent mode. You won't be running Pixel Shader water, or a super-high resolution, or perfect landscape, but you should be able to run it without too many hassles. I was running a similar setup (2.4 GHz P4, 512MB RAM, GeForce 4 MX440 card) when I first picked up PF to addon to FB+AEP, and I noticed no problem in excellent mode.

Having said that, you should definitely consider upgrading well, everything, but RAM first. 1 Gigabyte is the minimum 'reccomended' and you'll definitely avoid big online stutters/crashes with that much RAM. Your video card and processor only need an upgrade if you want to start playing with the prettier graphics. Not essential for shooting people down

When BoB comes out everyone's gonna be upgrading like crazy, so I personally would wait a bit before getting new machine.

512 MB is the minimum amount of RAM that it takes to run Pacific Fighters. Windows XP usually occupies almost 200 MB, so that would leave just a little over 300 MB available. This is likely to leave you with pauses and stutters unless graphics are set to the low to medium settings. I have 2 GB and sometimes my available drops to 800 MB, so I would say 1 GB is the true minimum for this sim with 1.5 GB being the recommended.
