I don't know if anybodys done this, but, I thought I would share it with you. I've spent half my life in aircraft, and I can't seem to adjust to no motion senses while flying in the sim, every time I look down, the slip and skid ball is way out of trim, I don't have T-IR yet, so it's a pain! you can feel a slip in the real world, then check the ball for reference, I realized that I was puting in to much rudder in turns, instinctively looking for that feeling.

Sense the pedals on my Saitek pro are so mushy, (very little spring back) I thought maybe stronger pressure would help get the feel for centering the pedals. Guess what, it works like a charm! It was a simple fix so I wont go into detail, just this picture.

You have cranked the big knob in the middle down right?

But I bet the springs feel a hell of a lot better

Looks good might try it on my CH pedals, they're too soft as well.

Dood! I was going to ask you about that after I watched that track you sent me.

Now I know...good tip. I'm going to try that with my pro pedals.

    S!

Crash... your too polite, after you said you watched it from the cockpit, I went back and looked myself, as I never do that, it was glaring! so I built those last night, what a difference! now I can put the bomb down the smoke stack.

    lol...that's not what I meant!

Actually, I was going to ask how you compared flying planes hither and yon around Alaska to flying planes hither and yon in the sim?

Especially rudders as these seem to cause the greatest consternation with us non-pilots. I mean, how much rudder is too much? Am I kicking to hard? Not enough? That sort of thing.

For us less inclined, can you go through how you went about doing that. I have CH Pro pedals so pictures of those with something like this installed would be great. Great idea!

Looks like all he did was drill some holes in the base and install large bolts and then drilled some smaller holes in the footpedals and then hooked springs too 'em.

Hey, Buzz...what weight are those springs? 6#? 7#?
