So I've had the Xbox for almost 5 years and till this moment I still don't have Xbox Live. And I've been dying to get an answer to my question which is...

If I get Xbox live on my account that has never had Xbox live, will all the achievements and game saves be erased?

Good question.. I really don't know. I've been Xbox for 6 and Xbox live for 5. I can't remember, sorry.

I'm not risking it. I've worked to hard to get where I'm at. In terms of beating games.

My friend told me that I would have to erase everything, but I'm not sure. He tends to exagerate on many things

IDK, but for PS3 everything transfers!

Hm, not sure. But it may has something to do with retrieving your gamertag that you'd created for the silver account.
