    Here's a list of achievements from x360a.org.

    I'm glad to see a greater variety of achievements than in YSFE. However, burning 200,000 calories seems quite excessive. I haven't lied about my weight in YSFE 1, so I burn 100 calories in about 15 minutes. So that would be 500 hours in YSFE 2012, unless the new game is much more generous in how it counts calories. If I get this new version, I'll be lying about my weight.

    I'm surprised and disappointed to see more YourShapeCenter.com achievements, including one for an Event, after the debacle with YSFE 1.

    Edit: According to YourShapeCenter.com's leaderboard, only one person has over 200K calories in YSFE 1. If there was such an achievement, I'm sure a few more would have it. Still, this seems a very unrealistic achievement if only one person in the world has burnt 200K in a game that's been out almost a year.

    Thanks for posting that link, MathGuy42.

    Despite all the massive problems with the last game I will probably still get the new version. It is quite possible that it will properly measure calories in the new game as the old game was entirely unrealistic. I used to be a long distance runner before my Achilles tendon went and I would burn around 100 calories per mile; I'm 12st 7lb and ran about a 7 minute mile. I know that my work rate in YourShape was nothing like that, but I would be working around at around 50% of that work rate and would be burning about 500 calories an hour.

    Based on this, to realistically burn 200000 calories I would need to put in 400 hours. Even if I could spare 1 hour a day - I simply don't have that time - this seems a somewhat ridiculous achievement. Like you, MathGuy42, I suspect I will put on a few hundred pounds by the time a buy the game. (c;

    It was interesting in the product description on Amazon UK to read: "Your Shape is the sequel to Your Shape: Fitness Evolved, the #1 fitness game on Kinect. With consumer feedback in mind..."

    Really? I would say to Ubishaft that whereas it is nice to think that consumer feedback has influenced the new game the proper way to respond to consumer feedback is for the developers to acknowledge on these official forums that they have read the comments and will be building them into the new product. Silently responding has done nothing to foster respect for Ubishaft as product developers.

    Having said that, the conclusion I have come to is that the massive failure on Ubishaft's part to react to problems on the first game is the way they operate. It seems that smaller studios of talented games developers create these products then Ubishaft, the mega corporation, buy the rights and market it. At this stage Ubishaft care very little about the feelings of the customers as they have our money. I guess that the original developers are probably not even allowed to get directly involved as real support would potentially cost Ubishaft money. This criticism is based on the objective fact that there has not been a single response to the first game on these "official" forums during the past year from Ubishaft. In other words, I'm sure the new game will be great - which is why I will buy it - but I have no confidence in any support we will subsequently receive from Ubishaft.
