    Hello!

Someone may suggest a daily plan to do with my Your Shape Fitness Evolved? I have the game a day ago and I started with the cardiovascular program, and I have a question, how many sessions a day do cardio? three, four,...?? half hour?

Thanks and excuse for my English (by google xD)

Reading your post, I do have to agree. Dont misunderstand me I love the game actually.
I am just sometimes very frustrated about certain feature which are really not user friendly.

I hope you are right and the constant input of this forum will have an impact on the development of a patch or (more likely) a new game. I really hope so, because due to lack of alternatives I am for sure going to buy the next one as well.

Are there any plans to release an update in the near future with more accurate or more tolerant tracking? I have pretty much given up on this game and switched to one of your competitors. If a patch is forthcoming, I'll wait and try it again. If not, I think its time to trade it in.

I really liked it at first, but the poor accuracy and constant out of rhythm status are just too irritating.

    Exact same thing here.

Really? One workout of five minutes every 24 hours? That's just ridiculous - I like to do cardio AND toning every day for at least an hour, have for more then two months, and no, no injury. Dictating what a person should do for training is stupid, and forcing them to cut way back just to "save progress" is insulting.

Is there a plan for more content in the near future?

I have just finished the "toned body" (I think thats the name of it, a 34min program which I combine with some cardio boxing before and after.. gives me a good 500cal count daily.

Looking through the rest of the programs they are all ~15min-ish, so my question is, are there plans to release more content soon?

Also --- figured I would add my review from Amazon.

If your reading this, you are likely wondering if this is for you.

    Answer - yes, it is.

    Now for the long version.

I work in IT, and I have been training for 25+ years, I have just passed the 9000cal mark on this game (to scope my response).

First, if you are someone trying to get in shape, or better shape, or a new twist to an existing routine, this will work. Its good, stick with it, change things up, have fun, eat right and you will get in better shape than you are now. There are glitches, it doesn't track perfectly all the time (although I have found that the majority of "not tracking" issues was a problem with me, not the game), but for all its faults you will probably get as good if not a better workout with this than in a cardio class.

It will not replace a personal trainer, which will take you through lifting routines and help with diets etc., but it will give you a very good cardio based workout. I am glad I got it, I use it often and it works me, and I have been training for 25+ years. The levels are fairly well set (I have a beginner who uses it in my same house and its doing a great job there too, just a bit easier than mine), and things to change up a bit, the games are entertaining and do make you sweat for a few more calories, but stick in the personal training as the main part of your program. Be sure to stretch well and warm up before getting into it though.

Now, for UBI - You had an opportunity to really kick one out of the park here, first one in the new market, established success, and you turned a C. This is the first deep interaction that has happened with people / machine, soooo many opportunities you missed to make a product that people were amazed with, you could have set the bar with Kinect interaction, but you left the money on the table and walked away. You turned out a good, solid product, but missed soooo much from interaction to stats and just a lot of fun factor (Yes, I am in software and work with the Kinect, I know what I am talking about). You left a lot of money on the table.

Now for Men's / Women's Health, mainly men's. I am going to guess your all under 35/35 and all wear straights (which means you are all under 35yo, under a 35in waste, and wear straight leg jeans). Like so many "fitness professionals" you are of the mind "faster is better" (cardio boxing a prime example). Every exercise I have seen so far, uses this ideal of jumping or moving fast to workout, and there are so many good, solid, alternatives many of which are arguably more effective than the typical "cardio class" or doing calisthenics. As your not in a new market (like UBI) I can only give you a D, I would expect you to know better and give many more options to UBI to produce. I hope your publications are not so myopic.

Finely for everyone else, even though I would expect more from these two companies, the product itself is solid and can really help you get fit, have fun and feel better.... get it, and hopefully in the next year or two someone will step up and produce what this should have been.

    Hello,

I was wondering if there is anyway to download this game onto my PC from online. I just bought it (have the proof of purchase, reciept, ect.) and my disk drive is broken so I can't install the disk. Could anyone please help me? </div></BLOCKQUOTE>

This version of the game YSFE is intended to be used on the XBox 360 with the Kinect sensor. If this is the version you purchased it will not work on a PC and so cannot be downloaded to a PC. </div></BLOCKQUOTE>

I have the PC version of the game, but in the manual it says that it may not work with certain laptops and I can't get it to work on my moms. I would put it on my computer but I don't have a disk drive, that is why i asked about a instant download

I am pretty sure no PC version for this was ever released. Can you point us to a link of the PC version you mentioned?

I just did a search and there is a "Your Shape" (not "Your Shape: Fitness Evolved") PC product available that comes with it's own camera. It's not the same as the Kinect version by any means.

auntto5, if your having issues with the "Your Shape" PC product not working on your computer I suggest you contact Ubisoft support. This forum deals with the XBox/Kinect version of YSFE.
