Sneak Peek of my book!

I have already started writing my newest story and I am sharing it with only 2 people as of right now. They are helping me revise the first couple chapters! Thanks guys, you know who you are! Here is an excerpt from Chapter 2!

I start to walk down the not red carpet, but more of a velvet color carpet.
I try to focus on posing, but it is hard when all of the photographers are yelling at you.
"MIKAELA! HON! LOOK OVER HERE!"
"OVER HERE MIKAELA!"
"GIVE ME YOUR DAZZLING SMILE!"
"LOOK HERE MIKAELA!"
"RIGHT HERE MIKAELA!! RIGHT HERE SWEETIE!"
"HEY IT GIRL MIKAELA! GIVE ME A SMILE!"
Exactly.
I have to use the fan method.
You know the fans that face from left to right and turn slowly from left to right?
That is exactly what I do.
I hold my smile, my pose and I just turn my body from left to right and make sure I make eye contact with all of the cameras.
I am practically blind when I get through.
