Ok, I played a few great user made SP missions today.
I decided to go back and play the original game. Now I have video issues, specificaly, shadows turn to dark blocks(large) and some textures turn multi-color (puke color).

    What is causeing this?
    Do I need to reinstall?

I have nVidea 5900 FX se with latest driver (as of today).

Messed up textures can be fun-

I know my GeForce FX 5700 256MB isn't overheating; it just puts weird textures in but stops after awhile, fortunately. I dunno what the problem is. Oh well.

Yeah, I was able to reproduce those problems today myself.

Here is my first suggestion, Post problems like these in the technical forum

    Then check out this thread

I would suggest given the beta drivers a shot, I actually broke my and the only drivers that have fixed them so far was the 60.72. Though I'm still working on what's going on.

I'm starting to think, something gets wwhacked out in the Windows registry, because part of my fix was to delete all references to nvidia out of mine.

I use the forceware 6111 drivers and have had no video problems with my FX 5950 Ultra.
