Ahoy,
After finishing Happy Times I chose western approaches for next operation. there I was to sunk 200 000 tons in the north atlantic which I did. then appeared 2 new objectives: sinking another 75 000 tons of merchant ships and sinking 5 destroyer escorts and 5 corvettes/frigates there. I didnt have a problem with destroyers because there were plenty of them with convoys. I cane find those corvettes. Where are they? Are they patrolling alone or escorting convoys?
Any ideas?

I cant find those flower types though.
Are they with convoys or in some special task forces?

They're in the convoys. I think there are frigates as well. In my case I got non-DD's first. I'd recommend that you check the ship library and familiarize yourself with the different escort types. Also, when you encounter a convoy and target an escort, go through the recognition manual and note the non-DD types. Then methodically check each of the escorts until you see one that matches one of the non-DD types.

Still no luck,
I encountered almost all destroyer types,
but not a single corvette. I was hunting all the yesterday evening. Maybe I should try another missions like those in the southern Atlantic and come back later in the 1941? (now I have July 1941)

Ok finally I did it. They were not in the merchant convoy but a special convoy of 8 warships. Two flower frigates, three other escorts (that counted for frigates/corvettes too) and three destroyers. So I had the 5 ships required to fulfil the mission. The spot I found it was west of Ireland a bit northwest of this shallow sea patch (it is called Rockall if I remember correct)
So, mission completed, now I head for hunt between Azores and Giblartar
