Tried to post screenshot but not sure how. so let me just describe/ask. What in gawd's name is the dashboard image on yourshapecenter.com that shows your session activity. visually, it is an orange obelisk with calorie count above, the phrase (for example)
"14' 1 ex." within, and the phrase "Personnal Training" below. I've been know to miss the obvious before but this one has me stumped. Thanks for any help.

I think this is what you're asking, though it's not entirely clear....
The "obelisk" that is orange when you begin using YSFE and changes color as you progress (mine is deep indigo) is actually a bar - as in a bar graph. If you do more than one activity type in a day you will see more than one bar. The bars will say Fitness Classes, Gym Games or Personal Trainer under each one to indicate the activity type. Calgar999 has told you what the information on the bars mean.

Yep that's what I was asking. Thanks to you both for very helpful explanations. Now I see.
You know, I want to do different activities (as your screenshot indicates NanoP), but the posts on here, and the system itself, make me think I'll lose my progress if I change activities. Pretty good workout program, pretty kludgy interface, if you ask me...

Wait. That raises another question. My status shows 14 min 1 exercise. What does "1 exercise" mean. One session maybe ? Cause there's more than 1 exercise in the session.
Man this sytem (YSFE) takes some getting used to...

When folks are talking about the possibility of losing progress they are only referring to the Personal Training sessions. Feel free to sample the Gym Games and Fitness classes.
A typical session for me is:
Warm up with Cardio Boxing Entire Silver Class.
Between 2 to 4 repetitions of my current Personal Training, depending on it's length.
Cardio Boxing Entire Gold
Bollywood Dancing (add on DLC $)
Cool down with one of the Zen Classes
I very much enjoy the variety YSFE offers.

I just looked at my own chart. 1 ex. is for the whole session.
