Im getting some conflict, infact i got the same conflict with pop SOT, I just downloaded a no-cdcrack however and everything was fine.
There are no Cd-Cracks at least that I could find for Warrior Within.
I dont have any virtual drives installed.
I have 2 hd and 1 dvd-cdrom drive.
hardisk C:
Harddisk F:
Cd-Drive D:
F: is actually my boot drive.
I suspect my unauthodox drive numbering is the problem.. but you cant reassign a bootdrive letter.
When I start it up it asks me to insert the correct cd, I press ok and it tells me the process was manualy killed.
Run virus scanners trend and panda, no viruses detected.
This is rather annoying I just got it home installed and ready to rumble and the **** thing wont load.
I think its the fact my F drive is my boot drive, if someone has a work around for this I would be in your debt.

I have the same problem.
When I try to start the game a message pops up saying ''The game process was manually killed''.
PoP:SoT worked fine and so did Warrior Within's demo.
Help!

Well, funny thing is...
Ive spent over 6 hours trying to get the freakin thing to work, I even dug up a old 8x cd rom drive to use and try...
Still no luck with that same problem.
This is highly and utterly F'ing annoying.
Why the hell would I want to spend 80 freakin bucks on a game then need to spend days trying to get the freakin thing to work or waiting for a no-cd crack.
When I could save myself the money
Save myself the time
and justdownload a leaked or cracked version at whatever point it becomes avaliable.
The disturbitors really need to get there freakin heads out of the sand with the copy protection because its a joke.
IT DOESNT DO ANYTHING BUT SCREW OVER PEOPLE THAT ACTUALLY PAY FOR THE GAME.

You're **** right this is annoying, but I guess we'll just have to wait for a no-cd crack.
I'm really frustrated right now because i've been waiting for this game for a long long time.

AAAAAARRRRRRRRGGGGGGGHHHHHHHH............I am returning the game!!
I cannot get the stupid thing to run...the CD drive keeps spinning out of control, and then the game ends saying it has been manually killed.
What gives? SOT ran just fine.....

It's really funny to read this obviously. I have a lot of experience with this stuff and it also took me about 5 till 6 hours to get it working, because of the same problems. I found myself stupid already not able to "just" install a game.
Luckyly, I was not on my own....
Here is my solution..... (Don't laugh)
I used 2 drives to install.
I put CD1 in diskdrive 1 (DVD-rom), CD2 in diskdrive 2 (CD-rom).
Start install from CD1-When installation asks for change of CD1 to CD2, tell installation CD2 is in other diskdrive-When installation asks for change of CD2 to CD3, change CD2 for CD3.
(main goal, don't change CD1)
Start game.....
It sounds a stupid solution I guess, but it was the only option out of a dozen to get it working....

Thanks for the help Aingen, but that didn't work for me.
I've been trying to get this game to work since 11 o'clock this morning (4.51 PM here now) and to be honest; I'm quite sick of it.

Mine doesn't work either. I can start the game, then I see the movie, and when the prince says his first line, the game crashes to the desktop with the error that I should read the readme.txt. Anyone knows what's wrong?

SOLOUTION
download daemontools
and invoke safedisk emulation.
Game works for me
FINALY
YAAAAA HOOOOOOO!!!
in a strange.. very strange twist of events, Safedisc version 4which the game uses is spose to protect agasint DaemonTools.
So its so bloody funny the only way to get this game working was to download a program its spose to protect agasint.
well Cryonic90 your problem seems to be diffrent. I have no idea sorry
