    Can someone tell me the trick to trimming out aircraft? I can't seem to get a response when I use the "ctrl+direction arrow" keys. I have to constantly make corrections with the joystick to keep the aircraft flying straight and level. Otherwise, they keep drifting up, or down, or left, or right. Needless to say, I can't trim for climbing or descending, either. I am using the Saitek X45, which appears to have good self-centering (it looks good in the calibration process). When I try to trim with hands off the joystick, man,the plane just drifts all over. I would think that trimming with hands on the joystick would be counterproductive. also, is there some method in the game to center the joystick? That may be a problem, too.

    trim depends on type of plane too
    e.g. i16 does not have any trim
    la7 does not have aeloron trim...

    and to realy use tim you need a thing like the saitek x45 Hotas...

    but if it has trim:
    at ONE certain speed AND alt (those to together)
    trim plane to fly level NOT adjusting the throttle or stick e.g. if ya keep the stick back try to adjust (trim) backward to release tension of stick - let stick go slowly etc...

    at that speed and alt it's trimmed
    now what ya gonne do ?

    but again - more explicit - pt the elevator trim on the throttle of x45 i got elev trim and flaps mapped to dials on the throttle

    The best way to use trim is to assign Elevator Trim to a slider. I use the "roulette" for power instead of the slider.

    You mean prop pitch - yes thats very important
    throttle * prop pitch = acceleration = lower revs = harder engine work... is more mixture lol (anymore?)
    yeah lots - lest start with height hehe...
