    I'm bettin' this won't update the add-on version and will only be in the Pure PF. Possibly another reason why the FB/AEP/PF add-on will not be compadible with the Pure install.

    Hmmm, no German and Russian planes... with better grapghics shading to boot. I think I'm gonna love PF.

    Don't think so. If SM 3 is used only on water than there is NO SENSE about it only working on pure PF. Only the mains application and render is affected. Nothing related to contents.

    If brute force does not solve your problem... you are not using enough!

    Does this mean that my new Abit Siluro FX5900 OTES GeForce FX5900 AGP 8X 128MB DDR with CineFX♠2.0 Engine Supports DX 9.0 Pixel Shader 2.0+ & Vertex Shader 2.0+ will not give me the water textures like I hoped? I went with this in hopes it would be easier on my pocket then a $500 card and better then the $300 bottom end nvidia 6800 card.

    The lowest GF 6800 is much faster than the fastest and most expensive FX 5950 ultra or ATi 9800XT..

    If brute force does not solve your problem... you are not using enough!

    I heard that PS3.0 also dramatically boosts pixel shader performance over 2.0. So does this mean better FPS with "Perfect" water in PF?

    You can make shaders tha are not possible with 2.0.. and you can make the same shaders that were made with 20.. but in a SIMPLER.. more direct way.. so more efficient. But the shaders must be rewritten to do so.
