Reason asking is because I will be flying the MC205, along with the MC200/202, a lot when the add-on comes. So, in the mean time I thought I would try my hand at flying a plane, in game now, that is most like the MC205. So, which is it?

Stab in the dark, but I'd say Messer 109 G2.

Why? Because they're both relatively quick, big climbing planes with slightly better than mediocre maneuverability and a LOT of engine grunt.

The 109 is better armoured, though.

Also, didnt Bf109 G2 and Mc 205 have same engine (although licence built); DB 605? But the Macchi obviously had the edge in guns/cannons.

AFAIK it had better manouverability than 109, for the rest is as we already noticed, better weaponry, same engine...
I will check my magazines, I remember reading an interview done in late 80s to an A.N.R. ace that was talking about his war experiences with 109Gs and Macchi against the american bombers storming italian skies at the end of WWII...sure we can use his remembrances....

Do you know that Italian MC 202 and 205 had better flight parameters than 109th with the same engines?

I've been using the Ki-61(early) to practice for the Mc200. They have the same engine and same armament and somewhat similar frame. I can't wait for the Mc205!

Torgue shouldn't be a problem with the Macchi C.200/202/205 series. Castoldi when he designed these aircraft considered the problem and came up with a simple but elegant solution. He lengthened the wing (by 6 or 7 inches) that the torgue would work against. This eliminated the torgue. American pilots who tested these aircraft stated that they didn't need to be trimmed to keep a straight and even flight. These are some of my all time favorite aircraft.
