Hi Oleg/1C.
There is a problem with the MW50 equipped German planes. From your game object viewer, it states that MW50 could only be used for 2 minutes and then a 10 minute "rest" was required until it could be engaged again.
Right now in the game, you can use MW50 for longer than 2 minutes and 10 minutes rest is NOT required.
Could we please fix this bug? I love my Bf109 and accuracy is the best!

My guess is that "game balance" takes precedence over historical accuracy when it comes to all kinds of Boost/Wep mechanisms in this game. The late 109's and are not the only ones who "suffer" from this bug. It certainly would be nice to get the correct boost procedures implemented in the game. Who knows, perhaps all those people who complained so vehemently about fixing the Corsair recently and other "Uber problem childs" in the past, will also show their sincerity for historical accuracy and petition Oleg to fix this as well...or maybe they won't

I can actually fly with MW50 as long as I have fuel. Engage MW50 before takeoff, open radiator and set about 105% of throttle, you will never overheat and you will have significantly better performance than without WEP.
I think limiting MW50 use would make a huge difference.. But I'm not sure if community would accept such a thing

CopperHead , be shush on things you are ignorant would you . . huh ?
this has been discussed many times over the last 2 years
the MW50 system on Bf109s was useable for up to 10 minutes & did require a cool down period (although a useage of 10 minutes would be a Engine Stripdown once landed)

this is incorrect , . . . please pay attention Copperhead so you know for next time
Engine Damadge is moddeled in the Bf109's with WEP
use this over 10 minutes at your peril . . . . . it will cause a loss of power & MP if you do , if you use it for extended periods & dont allow the motor to rest from MW50 use it will lose power & MP & basically your motor will fry itself & fail
the ability to handel sustained WEP useage on without worry isnt present in the Bf109s . . . but is present in other A/C
the ThunderBolt for example with its P&W 2800 required a engine strip anytime water injection was used in combat
the Spitfire can handel sustaind max MP at its highest boost without fear of engine damadge (as long as you dont cook it with overheating)
& as for the La's . . . . . . . they have Radials like what i thought the Jugs was meant to be like . . . . .

unfortunatly it seems there are gameengine limitations in programming some stuff.
one part is the whole BOOST stuff , all not only MW50 , its made easier than it was in reality.
other one is, when did you decrease your RPM before you dive with a CSP ,
just examples.
btw, you can use for total MW50 (flying over 100% power) for 26minutes . after that you are ruin your engine having MW50 enabled.
and some members of the community cant stand of their biased and nationalist feelings - very strange , its only a game

I might be wrong but from experience in late 109's you are already losing engine power before the engine overheat message (and of course way before engine making other sound!) and there's no way to have it back. Those 2min should be a recomendation to keep the engine intact so it could make more flights without thourough inspection/repairs.
And yeah, it's still needed a lot of time without boost and full throttle to restore normal working temps (not just to make overheat message go away) for engine and coolant to go well under the 100âºC's assuming normal working temps should be around the middle of the temp dials.
On the other side, I don't know if those 75ltr. are modelled in game, ie, if it's possible to dry out of wep.

So the Bf109 will get a FREE ride on this and is above fixing?
No wonder Oleg brags that all championship winning players us Bf109.
Oleg is rewriting history, be sure.
