Hi,
In the adverts and marketing materials for YS2012, it shows people being able to set up customisable workouts. I clearly remember people being able to set up routines like:
- Running then cardio then yoga
- Selecting exercises from different routine to build up a completely tailored workout.
... I can't find how to do this, though. I'd had the game for almost a month, and really want to be able to set things up for myself.
I'd be really grateful if anyone has any ideas - particularly the Forum Manager
Thanks,
Jim

I cannot find it either. That was a major selling point for me.

wonder if they are talking about the "customize" option where u have to answer those questions about your current fitness level and what kind of workout u want. And after that u get all those workouts with a flag besides it that u can mix as u want... but in my opinion that is not very customizeable...

I think that you're right, Niconul - and like you both, this was a major selling point for me.
I think what you see in the adverts is a mrketing person's representation of selecting things that you want, even though you can't actually do it like that, and even though you can't select eerxises from within a routine and link them with something else.
Annoying, because
a: I hate a couple of the exercises in cardo (plie twists, I'm mainly looking at you) and would prefer to do something else, and
b: i could do it in wii fit, but that never pushed me hard enough to keep me interested.

yeah jim.. i feel the same way.. Why cant they just bring the best of 2 worlds together instead of splitting them up into 2 games?
i saw there is a new DLC that is a 8 week program, havent tried it, but mayby that will fit your style better. Mayby some options to customize? i will download that package tomorrow and see what its all about..

I was holding off on the new DLC until the new year. I'm trying to build muscle as wella s lose weight, so I'm doing a 6 week rotation of:
Cycle 1: 3 weights routines pw plus 3x 20mins on YS2012
Cycle 2: 2 weights routines pw, and 4 x 45 mins on YS2012, plus some Dance Central for extra cardio.
I'd be interested to hear what you think of the new DLC. If ti's good then I'd change my program to fit it, but I'm not due to start a major cardio cycle until the middle of Jan now.
Hope it works out for you
