Wing Commander and Privateer had some awesome ship designs.
More recently I like the Reavers from Firefly.
Sorry, I am just not seeing it. You seem to lean hard toward the European designs. And save for a few exceptions on the whole the British (modern aircraft) in particular don't do anything for me. Though don't get me wrong there are some awesome Euro designs.Originally posted by rfxcasey:

Not so much the f18 admittedly I just through that in there to show even one of the ugliest American fighters is still better looking then most of the British planes from the 60s, 70s, 80s, and early 90s in my opinion anyways. Not that I dislike the Brits or anything. And I'm not waving the American flag either But the f4 and the Ferrari definitely especially considering the conversations was pertaining to form following function.
A perfect example from an engineering standpoint is the Bking you either love it or hate it.
