Six pages and not one mention of the Hawker Hunter, the General Dynamics (screw Boeing) F-16, the Grumman (ditto Northrop AND their lawyers) F-14A Tomcat or the Vought F8U Crusader.
I am shocked and dismayed at these lapses.
Of course, my personal favorites in the props & aesthetics department are the FW 190D (big tail) and the F8F-2 Bearcat...

I agree. For some reason bubble canopies on aircraft that didn't initially have them don't sit well with me (aesthetically).
As for P-47s with Malcolm hoods, apparently it was a very occasional modification to the remaining razorbacks in service toward the end of the war. PM BillSwagger or visit AAA if you're interested in the mod sense.![]()
