    This is the old girl.

Looks-wise I really don't like roof winged aircraft... </div></BLOCKQUOTE>If I hadn't flown in it so much I would agree with you, but beauty is in the eye of the beer holder .

The A6M pictured is not the Koga Zero. It looks to be a Model 52. Maybe one of the many captured on Saipan.

As the question says most beautiful aircraft EVER, I have to forego my WW2 faves and go for the beauty.

Which, btw, is destined to fly again.

Ooohhh, the De Havilland Hornet is top of my list....Griffon Spits (Merlin Spits just don't have the requisite brutality)...and the G.55. As for P-51s, Malcolm Hood or GTFO!

Also have a weakness for this monster:

Looks like a Malcom hood on that P-47.

Most beautiful aircraft ever would have to be the Yakovlev Yak-3. A sleek exterior with graceful curves hiding the fast and deadly monster underneath.

How anyone can say the Bf109 is the most beautiful is beyond me. That is a downright ugly aircraft. But then again its ugliness makes it so much more badass.
