I've also been messing around with the streets of London. This is the vicinity of Buckingham Palace. Added traffic, barrage balloons and a few other items.

The variety of vehicles needs to be improved. And too much grass on busy roads!

    Best Regards,

Q: Will Cliffs of Dover run SMOOTHLY on a good "gaming" LAPTOP? For example a laptop with a 2.0 GHz Intel Core i7, 8 GB DDR3 and a GeForce GTX 560M (2 GB GDDR5)?

So far I'm playing single player just to learn. How can I change my name? The name that's shown in the events on the R/H corner is my email name.
    Thanks.

Q1: Why can't get more than 2,000 rpms in my Spitfire, during takeoff I could barely made 90 knots. Have a CH Throttle and did check the Axis setup and the slider is correct, goes from o to 100

Q2: In Quick missions if I set the flight to be of more than one plane, how can I choose which plane to fly, it always put you in the first one.

Q3: The right and left brakes don't work properly, particularly the right one, can't make a right turn.

Thanks in advance for your reply

A1: Most likely you are using Complex Engine Management set to off, for some reason the system sets that to course prop pitch too soon and thus low RPM. If you have Complex Engine Management set to on, then you need to change the prop pitch so your RPM goes up. The Spit has two prop pitch positions only.

A2: Each plane has a little pilot icon above it, you need to click the pilot icon above the plane you want to fly.

A3: The early British fighters did not have left and right toe brakes, they had a single brake lever, you need to use the wheel brakes button.

    Thanks Urufo_Shinjiro, need some clarification
A1: Is this an error in the sim and we should expect a patch to fix it?
Is this also the reason why the W command don't work? I've tried both Toggle and Throttle War Emergency Power?

A2: Don't know that I'm doing wrong, in QM you can only define the number of planes (up to 6, and there is one little pilot (outside upper left corner) and a smaller one (inside down right corner), which one you refer to?

A3: Definitelly, there's always something we can learn every day!

    1. Yeah, I think it's a bug, supposedly the AI is being reworked from the ground up by a new AI programmer so they probably haven't wasted time fixing the current AI's handling of the engine on your behalf as it will be replaced soon(ish). As for WEP, there is none yet, many of the control options in the game are there so it's ready for future expansions/aircraft.

    2. Oh, do you mean like if the British side has 6 Spits and 6 Blenheims how do you select to fly Spit number 4? Don't think that's possible yet. I thought you meant how do you select to fly the Blenheim instead of the Spit.

    1. Understand, but that's a major drawback since the manual recommend not to try engine and prop management given its difficulty, but on the other hand, if not, you can barely takeoff and are always at low speed. Lets hope it won't take long for the rework to be release.

    2. Exactly, remember you get a message telling to click on the uperhand pilot if you want to be the leader of the scuadron, bur regarless of what you do, it always put you in the first plane.
    Thanks,

    1. Yeah, kinda sucks, but look at this as an opportunity, go ahead and learn the Complex Engine Management, it's not that hard and it's worth it. You can leave the heat option off if you want, that will make it a little easier.

    2. I don't think that was an option even in 1946 quick mission builder was it? I do think that would be very handy to have, especially with the more "single mission" oriented QMB of CloD, but I don't think we've had exactly that option.
