Here is a tutorial on how to install and use Cam Studio, a free and easy tool to record your game to create your own short movies, fashion shows and so much more!
Cam Studio tutorial:
Click on the following link:
http://sourceforge.net/project...udio2-0.exe/download
Accept the download or click on "keep the file downloading"
Check on your screen low left corner the .exe file
Click on it
Agree the terms and conditions
Click on Next, Start.
Once installed. Remember where the software is installed and click on Cam Studio.
Here is the icon of the software if you loose it:
This is what Cam Studio interface looks like:
Click on Region, and click on Region again to be able to choose the part of your screen you want to record.
Open your game
Be sure to be ready to record, in place, warn everyone with "It’ll start in 2 seconds, Ready, Set... Action!".
Click the red button. Then choose the region you want to record as below
As soon as you release the mouse button, recording will start.
We recommend the Cameraman is a player who is spectator during the show not moving so you get the best fixed image on camera.
When finished, click on the blue square button to stop.
Cam Studio will ask you to save you video as .avi, be sure to name it and save it somewhere you’ll remember.
Then, you’ll just have to upload it on Youtube and maybe be featured on our official Youtube Channel: http://www.youtube.com/ImagineFans !
If you have extra questions, post below and we'll update the tutorial accordingly!
Let's get started on making awesome Imagine Town movies!
