What if the game gives you an exercise that you can't or don't want to do - how do you skip? The next time will it give you an alternative exercise?

Welcome to the forums!
The game does not provide the option to skip any of the exercises from the workout/program. However, since the game offers more than 400 exercises, there are always a number of different workout options depending on your specific area of focus – there will be little repetition overall, if you keep at it.

I know what you mean! Unfortunately there is no part of the game that allows you to skip or let it know what exercises you can't do.
I unfortunately have a wrist injury which prevents me from doing push-ups or anything that requires my body weight to be leaning on my wrists- of course the game doesn't know this so when such an exercise is required to be done i can't do it properly so my % drops. Oh well, i know i'm not slacking off on purpose and take that into consideration in my final score.

I have this problem as well, I have pain issues in my left foot making it very difficult to do anything that requires hopping or jumping...it would be nice if you could customize the work outs a little bit more. It seems like the Wii fit exercises are more customizable but not as great of a work out

I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who wishes you could edit an exercise from the program. I can't do push-ups either so I do a modified push-up during that time. The game is suppose to track how you do an exercise and adjust for future workouts. I wonder if by not doing an exercise it will not put that in the routine for next time???

I've found that if you don't do an excercise (or do it well) it just keeps adding that excercise to your routein. I guess so you can build up resistance to the movement but it is frustrating when it is a physical movement you are incapable of doing.

I have to admit that I haven't gotten back to this program because I was so disappointed in how difficult some of the exercises were - plank, push up's - couldn't really do them in my 20's. I really bought this one because of Jenny McCarthy's involvement. She seems down to earth and I thought she would be a little more realistic of people's strengths. Oh well - glad I'm not alone. I really like the Active software. It's a very good workout and does not expect you to be an olympic athlete.
