~Never Give Up~

Setting: at a writing contest:10 years ago

NARRATOR: Sometimes we think we know what's going to happen,but then,life throws us something uncalled for,then what do we do?
CARMEN: Megan,Look. I. Am. SICK.
MEGAN: Of WHAT?!
CARMEN: Of YOU
MEGAN: yeah,but once I win thisnwriting contest, I'll be SO famous,Mikaela won't be as famous as me! (laughs evilly)
CARMEN: You don't know that!
MEGAN: I DO!

Setting: the Awards Ceremony :10 Years ago

MS.ANNABELE: First place goes to: MEGAN!
(MEGAN comes up on stage)
MEGAN: I'd like to think my Daddy,for always being there for me,and understanding my pain through the tough times. Oh,and one more thing to my friend Carmen!: WHO'S LAUGHING NOW!?

Setting: Carmen's office: Present

SANDY: Oh,and Carmen honey,I need that edited Manuscript in by morning
CARMEN: Sure Sandy!
JAN: Hi BFF!

(Jan & Carmen do a scret handshake)

JAN: So,what's new?
CARMEN: Nothing,Jan,there's just a homeless person living outside,in a Jewel covered jacket

(JAN looks out a window)

JAN: that's not a homeless person,THAT'S Megan!
