    Tony Stark makes you feel
    he's the coolest cat
    with the hottest steel
and Iron Man all jets ablaze
    He fights and fights
    with repulsor rays

One of my all-time favorite songs.

He is a good choice for the part too.

Funny watching these characters from teenage days of comics coming to life on the big screen. Guess being a comic writer/artist/ creater isn`t such a pointless activity after all, like they used to say...

    I AM IRON MAN!!

    Has he lost his mind
Can he see or is he blind
    Can he walk at all
Or if he moves will he fall

    Is he alive or dead
Has he thoughts within his head
    We'll just pass him there
    Why should we even care

    He was turned to steel
    In the great magnetic field
    When he traveled time
    For the future of mankind

    Nobody wants him
He just stares at the world
    Planning his vengeance
    That he will soon unfurl

    Now the time is here
For Iron Man to spread fear
    Vengeance from the grave
Kills the people he once saved

    Nobody wants him
    They just turn their heads
    Nobody helps him
    Now he has his revenge

    Heavy boots of lead
Fills his victims full of dread
Running as fast as they can
    Iron Man lives again!

    Hulk (1966)

    Doc Bruce Banner,
    Belted by gamma rays,
    Turned into the Hulk.
    Ain't he unglamo-rays!
    Wreckin' the town
With the power of a bull,
    Ain't no monster clown
    Who is that lovable?
It's ever lovin' Hulk! HULK!! HULK!!"

    Marvel Super Heroes

    Meet the sulky over-bulky kinda'
    hulky superhero
A tuned-in-istic and electrically transistored superhero
An exotically neurotic and aquatic superhero
The Marvel Super Heroes have arrived!
Super powered from the forehead to the toes
Watch them change their shape before your nose
See a cane-striking superhero change to Viking superhero
A humdingin' real swinging shield flinging superhero
Their the the latest their the greatest ultimatist superheroes
The Marvel Super Heroes have arrived!

    Sub-Mariner (1966)

    Stronger than a whale
    He can swim anywhere
    He can breathe under water
and go flying through the air
    The Noble Sub Mariner
    Prince of the deep
    So, beware you deadly demons
    Lord Namor of Atlantis,
is the Prince of the Deep.

    The Mighty Thor (1966)

Cross the Rainbow Bridge of Asgard,
    Where the booming heavens roar,
    You'll behold in breathless wonder
The God Of Thunder, Mighty Thor!

    Captain America (1966)

When Captain America throws his mighty shield,
All those who chose oppose his shield must yield.

If he's lead to a fight and a duel is due,
Then the red and white and the blue'll come through.

When Captain America throws his mighty shield

    Spiderman

    Spiderman, Spiderman,

    Does whatever a spider can

    Spins a web, any size,

    Catches thieves just like flies

    Look Out!

    Here comes the Spiderman.

    Is he strong?

    Listen bud,

    He's got radioactive blood.

Can he swing from a thread

    Take a look overhead

    Hey, there

    There goes the Spiderman.

    In the chill of night

At the scene of a crime

    Like a streak of light

    He arrives just in time.

    Spiderman, Spiderman

    Friendly neighborhood Spiderman

    Wealth and fame

    He's ingnored

    Action is his reward.

To him, life is a great big bang up

    Whenever there's a hang up

    You'll find the Spider man.

I'll take a stab, but I think I'm wrong. When I was a kid during the 60s there was an animated cartoon series featuring the Marvel Super Heros. On Monday woulf Be THOR. Tuesday would be Namour, Wednesday Iron Man, and Thursday HULK!

It really wasn't animated, but each panel of the character's strip would be shown complete with word bubbles. Actors would bead the script.

    Dr. Bruce Banner
    injected with gamma rays
    turns into the Hulk.
    Zany and glamourous.

(C'mon! Give me a break. I don't sing THAT bad. this stuffs 40 years old.)

Here's a blast from the way back machine. Remember Captain Phantom A Sub Commander. The animation was a lot like Marvel's comic strip animated series, but instead of where the mouth was, a REAL human's lips were superimposed so it looked like the character was really talking.
This show goes back to when I was a bout 3 or 4 and it's only a fuzzy memory.
