Hi All,
I got my first taste of MP during a 3 week business trip to NY. Now I am back in England I definitely need to upgrade to broadband.
I thought I had seen some discussions on it in the past (Huntsman?) but the new improved advanced find doesn't seem to help!
So does anyone have any recomendations?
I was looking at Wanadoo (I am currently with them as a former freeserve customer) for bang for buck, sorry pound (need reprogramming again), but wondered about the download limits..
TIA
Custards Last Stand
Thanks Huntsman,
Mind me asking which package you have?

These seem expensive compared to Wanadoo, but if the availability is good I guess it might be worth it...
Anyone else got an opinion good or bad?

I've got wanadoo 1024 down / 512 up ADSL

telefones!) for Euro 22,50 a month
I guess thats about BP 15,-
But then:U never joined the Euro....

Lol
From my experience the Euro is extremely convient for travelling around the mainlaind, but most countries saw a big increase in the cost of "daily goods" at the time of conversion...
Amazing how the shop keepers found rounding up so easy!
Now if you consider that most things cost more in the UK than most of the civilised world, then add in the fact that we are allegedly a nation of shopkeepers... You can understand why we didn't join!!![]()
Wanadoo in the Uk is 1MB for â£17.99 but with a CAP on the downloads per month. u want more u pay more...
Where u at ggoi?
That was 1024Kbdown/512Kbup,
<span class="ev_code_YELLOW">NO DATALIMITS</span>
Come to holland (Euro 19,99 budget air)
and visit a supermarket (AH=Albert Heyn=NOT CHEAP!)
And find out it's 15%-25% <span class="ev_code_YELLOW">CHEAPER</span>
then the average British supermarket!
You've been ripped off for AGES
If you want it REALLY cheap:go to the German
originating ALDI or LIDL:no frills,but 20%/30%
cheaper then AH (rounding UP lead to a supermarket price-war)
for that wanadoo Euro 22,50 you get a free wireless box, that is fully ready for TV- and MOVIE-streaming
Count your Blair-blessings....

I would think the â£17.99 from wanadoo might not be the best option due to their two gig bandwidth limitation if you're going to be doing gaming and a lot downloads etc. I think that packages more for casual users. I would think their middle package that gives you six gigs of bandwidth would be better for most people. I don't know how good wanadoo are though as I've never used them.
Ha!
How ironic,
I was due to go to Utrech next week but now have higher priorities!
We have Aldi and Lidl over hear, along with Netto. From what I see in them by and large you get what you pay for!
No I am afraid it is Harrods, Selfridges and Harvey Nichs for me!
Appart from M&S for my underwear that is...
Seriously, if I am going to go shopping abroad for food and drink it is usually Italy!! (regular buisness trips to Rome...)
Or for HW it has to be the land of the sinking dollar at the momment! (Sry guys)
Seems crazy that the Euro countries can have such variations in prices... I wonder if they balance out the closer you get to the borders?
Thanks for the tips but I think i'll stay in the UK 4 now! Its "Reassuringly Expensive"... lol
