when you hit the print screen button does it actually print out a picture of the screen?

When you hit the print screen button, it won't actually do anything. You won't notice anything printing and you won't see anything happen on your screen. However, when you go to paste in Paint, the whole image of the screen will be pasted!

I am sorry to say I cannot take a screen shot. I press the PrntSc Button on my Gateway Laptop and go to Paint and do Ctrl V and nothing happens I also click Edit and there are no options available to paste anything. I have googled ways and done everything, nothing works.

You can usually find Paint if you go into All Programs and then Accessories.
