I don't understand this steam whining. It's a good little program!! It helps you play all your games, downloads and installs updates for you and tells you what's happening in the studios (Their next update will contain, new maps etc) and I've never had a problem with it. Just install the **** game
Pretty amazing how some peoples whining can stop you playing the best FPS ever made...

I for one hated that Steam gig. Why the hell impose that on a gamer? Took me 10 minutes to fire up HL2 the first time I played it.
Anyway, I've had my PC upgraded recently, and my joystick has pretty much every button busted from overuse, so I make a pledge not to install FB+AEP+PF again until the patch comes out, at which time I'll get a new stick and take to the skies again.
Until then, I'm distracting myself with:
Rome Total War
Act of War: Direct Action
Homeworld 2
Rainbow Six 3: Raven Shield
Star Wars Republic Commando
Doom 3
Warhammer 40.000 Dawn of War
And a little Star Wars Battlefront for multiplayer fun.

Getting a pc 4 years ago and a flight stick was the best thing Ive ever done for my bank account. Started out on the Atari 2600 and was always a 2 new games a month person, $$$$, right up until the pc and starting with CFS1. Now I buy maybe 2 games a year if they are really interesting, play them between flight sim breaks, finish them, back to IL2 full stop.
Right now
IL2+AEP+PF= 97%
Splinter Cell: Chaos: 2.5%
Americas Army: 0.5%

1) Grand Prix Legends;
2) a Ferrari 330P4 mod for Nascar Racing 2003;
It's good to back up old warbirds with some old racing beasts

25% - FS2004. Very heavily modified this sim is, with almost 10 GB of high-res terrain mesh, nationwide landclass, and add-on scenery alone (but no MegaScenery. Bought it, but didn't like it so much). Ultimate Traffic, USA Roads, a handful of select payware aircraft. I could go on and on...
25% - PF+AEP+FB 3.04m
20% - Enigma Rising Tide w/Gold Patch
30% - P.T.O. IV, Tekken 5, Gran Turismo 4, and Tokyo Extreme Racer (a.k.a. Shutokou Battle [sp.?])
Yep, life is good...

OH! By the way, does anyone know where screenshots from FS2004 are saved? And does <Prt Scr> actually save a shot in FS2004?
Thanks!

FS2004 doesn't save screenshots as far as I know. I use Hypersnap to catch my shots, but you could use FRAPS or many other tools as well.
P.S. Treetop, I hear you on all the FS2004 stuff. Even being very selective with what planes I keep, I've got boatloads of top notch freeware planes, 4-5 payware ones (worth every cent!), terrain mesh for most of the world, add-on airport sceneries, payware traffic, voice activation for ATC comms, and on and on. What an excellent investment FS has been! Such a great sim with something new coming out all the time. Now THAT'S how to keep a sim fresh.
I'm SO surprised how few people are playing Splinter Cell CT or Brothers in Arms! What great games, both UBISoft too!
