The more I see of this game the more I want. I like commanding submarines, but sometimes one needs a change to keep his perspective so to speak.

The demo never worked for me. Perhaps it was corrupted, I dunno. Several of the BlitzPigs have tried it and all say the same thing, great graphics engine, same old boring FPS monster shoot 'em up, with Koreans thrown in for some target variety.

I'll pass.

I wish the Cry Engine folks would do a serious simulation with that engine. But maybe it can only do jungle/island terrain?

Would that be a problem?
Mabee they could do an island hopping campain following the US marines in the pacific.
That would make a good first person shooter.

Totally agree. My dream is something like Armed Assault with these graphics. The Crysis demo was a let down for me, nothing spesial. But pretty.

I have never played an FPS that I would call a simulation. Even ArmA, as good as it is, is pretty far off the mark.

Already played it multiplayers, and its the blast. Given the right mod this game ihas some breathtaking potentional. The suit sucks for MP though, but should rock big time for singleplayer.

I can say that Crysis offers the most stunning graphics ive seen so far. And im playing on DX9. !

Havent even seen the DX10 quality yet.
Especially effects like explosions and tracers look awesome.


But its not just the graphics, the sound is also excellent. The sound of the weapons is very realistic and has a nice bite when you play it on a 5.1 system.

Im playing on 1280x1024 with no anti-aliasing and shadows aswell as Volumetric effects set to medium. Everything else is set to "high"

I really need to switch some stuff down to medium
