GRRRRR...AI planes dropping their weapons before i do | Forums

I'm flying a He-111 campaign & i'm the leader, I always fly the first plane, But the AI planes have a bad habit of dropping their bombs & torpedos before i do & they get the kills, Is there anyway to stop this besides ordering everyone to return to the base, This is very annoying

An attack against a unit of Flying Fortress' was something like controlled suicide, Sometimes 50, Sometimes 80 machine guns were firing at you, You attempted to close your eyes & continue to fire, Frightened to death, Frightened to death.

Try issuing the attack my target command as you approach the target. Don't know if this will work or not.
Tab (to open comms)
6 (for all planes in your group)
5 (attack my target)

You could also try issuing a rejoin command before reaching the target to maintain some sense of control.

I am developing an IL-2T campaign and I can tell you if the AI planes have waypoints they will do what the waypoints tell them to do and ignore you most of the time. Try the stuff above and good luck.

You're joking, right? (jk). It just seems funny that you want to bust your "wingmen" (even though they are AI) for successfully destroying the enemy and (to add insult to injury) because they did it at the exact right moment (instead of following their leader who _didn't_ drop his bombs early enough).

Am I the only one who finds humor in this?

I was going to torpedo a russian ship but i was approaching the ship from the bow & i wanted to swing around to approach from the side, Well i was the only one who turned the rest of my planes flew at the ship & dropped their torpedos & the mission was basically over, I mean they didnt even make an attempt to follow me
