    Hy there!

I'm experiencing some strange graphic effects that doesn't seem right. I'm wondering if I can solve this with your help.

    1. I'm getting strange water; it looks very nice from distance, but, whean I close in I get this:

And 2. I can see rivers far more ahead than the whole landscape:

Is there problem with dll's or with grapich card drivers or something?

    I appreciate any help!

    S!

EDIT: If you can't see pictures or have trouble downloading them, please report.

Can't see the thumbnails but can download the pics ok.

It would help if you could give a bit more information - What version of the game are you playing, what graphics card and drivers are you using etc. Probably best to post a DirectX Diagnosis report in this thread, it will give people more to work with.

This anomalies are in every version - 4.08 and 4.09 modded/unmodded. I'm using 8800gts 320MB and drivers are 178.24 version.
Sometimes I experience crash of the game, and then I get an error than grapich driver stopped working and it's recovered; only when playing Il-2.

On my 8800GTS/320 I get the best results with this driver: NGO NVIDIA Optimized Driver 1.16369
(Only this driver makes the close by scenery -like when in a valley looking left or right, or looking down to the ground when flying low- move past in a smooth way, all other drivers cause stuttering there...)

I do recognize them spots in the water you got there, as I've had them too.
Unfortunately, I do not really remember what setting made them go away...

But, here's the contents of the OpenGL part of my conf.ini.
You can try and copy/paste them into your conf.ini, and see if it helps.

I believe the seeing rivers ahead of anything else in the distance was a problem with one of the beta .dll's.
