Thanks to the Best T.V. opening tiles thread, Foxyboy and I have discovered that Alexandra Bastedo awakened interests in us when we were very much younger.
See her here in a nice montage:

An honourable mention must go to Linda Thorson, too
So it's over to you - which t.v. star helped you through those difficult early teens?

Not exactly a TV star but Clare Grogan, in Altered Images and in Gregory's Girl.

Mmm, I remember Claire Grogan with a lot of, erm, fondness.
But when I was gorwing up, they were repeating the Avengers, and Diana Rigg had a profound effect on me.

Bears a striking resemblance to Ms. Bastedo. Coincidence? Maybe.

Not a TV star but she was (and still is) rather hot, and her music career peaked when I was a teenager.

TV? Teenage? Lol.
I guess you could say Coronation Street. I saw the first episode, in black & white, and realised I needed to get out more....and never looked back. Bought a TV when I got married in 1974 aged 24. Watched the 500th or so broadcast of Coronation Street and hit the road again

Actually, it would be a toss up between many, such as Catherine Bach (Daisy Duke), Linda Carter (Wonder Woman), Patricia McPherson as Bonnie Barstow in Knight Rider, and the young, voluptuous girls of Hee Haw.
Mmmm, mmmm that Minnie Pearl was bodacious, wasn't she?
