Can you play without the disk in the drive? | Forums

this game seems to require a disk in the drive all the time.

i thought that with these online activation games that a disk wasnt necessary to be in the drive at all times?
(spore, dead space, crysis warhead, two worlds, sacred 2 etc.)

Am i doing something wrong, or does this game have this strange double layer of protection on it?

No this is how it works with FC2. It was stated by Vigil somewhere in the long DRM thread.

It has a protection to check the disc. So yeah you have to keep putting it in the drive. Hopefully they will have a patch so you don't have to use the disc.
