I realize that these variations in the D XXI, and the wheel spats for the I-15 Bis are Easter Eggs for offline flyers, but I wish the dev team would make them as separate flyables so we could enjoy them all the time without the tomfoolery of making changes to the con.ini, or choosing obscure/unknown/random skins.
These are some very cool aircraft versions that almost no one knows of.
Seems a shame to waste all the work to model them.
I'm wondering if they could put the no wheel spats option as one of the loadouts?
One of the best things I've noticed about 4.10 is they've fixed the distance LODs for the Ju-87, Ju-88 and Bf-109, so they no longer suddenly become charicatures of themselves as you move away from them. Hope they fix the Il-2 LOD in the next patch, so that its cockpit no longer balloons in size.
I searched around and found it! : http://combat-asylum.com/uploa...9/02/5143_Rammer.pdfOriginally posted by pupo162:

Yes, unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be a customization.ini for the I-15 bis. Spats seem to be totally random
I was fooling around, and the feature certainly works for planes that have more than one skin the their folder. For instance, the I-16 type 6 with skis has a second skin, and the Hs-129 Desert skin is different too.
I added a skin into the DXXI folder and managed to remove the spats.
However, "Default" skins don't have a checksum that you can put in to the Customization.ini
This is annoying for planes like the Fokkers and I-16 type 6 which don't have any other skins than the default.
I was wondering if anyone managed to copy the default skins and offer them for download? That way I could have Default2, Default3 in the skins list which each have the same color scheme, but their own checksum, and thus each have their own features, depending on what I feel like.
