    IL2...yes on occasions.
    MSFSX......yes on occasions.

Need for speed shift, well it's already out and I got it on the day it was released. By 5 o'clock that night I had taken it off my computer and put it in the 'never play that again' drawer. It is not really a sim, more a pathetic attempt at a 'racing sim' that encourages you to drive the opposition off the track for which you will receive agression points!!!. Absolutely pathetic.

Now if you want a driving sim you should take a serious look at Rfactor. The initial thing you will notice is that the graphics relating to scenery, buildings etc are a bit dated, BUT, when you actually get into it these are things that you will not notice. PLUS, there are that many mods avilable for it in terms of 'Race Series' you will never get bored of playing it. My rfactor programs folder now contains appromately 25 gigs worth of mods. As a sim, with the ability to tweek just about every setting on the vehicle to suit your driving style it is well worth the effort to load it up.

Aside from those I do COD4 Multiplayer, won't touch MW2 as there are no dedicated servers.

The there is the best, the Silent hunter series, favourite is SH3, close second is SH4 with TMO enabled.

I still play Combat Flight Simulator 2 PTO on occasion, just love flying the F4U in that game.

Not a sim, but I love Call of Duty World at War.

Are there any ground warfare sims? Wish a real open ended type PTO ground combat would come out.FPS can get a little old...

You obviously have no clue about real racing.. Open wheel = one leader (3 if your lucky)

at least there is passing, and action in a NASCAR Race... not just who spends the most money. oh and ever seen those guys on a short track or road course? didnt think so- if you did you would at least rethink your statement.

Heck any racing other than open wheel is real racing, not just follow the leader. Touring cars, sports cars, stock cars, all those put on a better show than F1 or Indycar on its best day. Tho nothing compares to the ARCA cars on dirt... thats great racing!

Well, there are many single seater series that do provide great entertainment and lots of passing, they are generally not the better known series like F1 or A1 GP but it's still out there if you look. But certainly with you that touring cars, sports cars etc are far greater entertainment. Hence my list of racing games

Race 07 (WTCC, Caterams, Radicals SR3/4, F3000, FBMW, Mini coopers)

GTR evo (an update to Race 07 adding 3 GT classes with road versions)

Race On (latest update to Race 07 adding WTCC 08 US muscle cars, Swedish Touring cars and Formula masters)

Rfactor (a must for any lover of racing games as wealth of mods means no matter what you like, you can download it)

    ArmA 2

Oeration flashpoint 2 (not got round to playing this yet though)

IL2 (have played the Cobat flight sim games but no longer own them )

That just about covers it baring the SH series

Are you serious? Nascar is the race of boredom. Any moron can go round and round in automatic. In Formual 1 they actually have to shift! Going from 200 MPH down to 70 MPH and then picking up again to top speed.
My SISTER could drive in a Nascar race. Round and round we go. As they say "go fast, turn left"
I can just hear those idiots - I'm going fast now what do I do? Oh yeah, turn left.
The rest of the world spells racing "Formual One" America spells racing - Round and Round.

You just proved you have NO CLUE what NASCAR is. maybe you should look into it before opening your mouth.. NASCAR guys shift too... but i guess you knew that.

Oh and the Sprint Cup cars, ugly as they are, can go 207, and still slow down to 170 to make turns... again look into it and dont make general assumptions about what you think you know... obviously you have no clue.

F1 *yawn* he who starts on pole wins... or he who spends most wins... how lame *** is that. I wana see talent, i wana see close racing, i wana see action, i could care less the tracks are shorter and have less turns. NASCAR provides more action that you open wheel people know what to do with.

Read a book before answering sometime, it may help you.

And before you think of slamming me for not knowing F1... know this. I watch it, i have tried to enjoy it, but to me, the start where its a massive cluster eff, and the rain are the only things that are enjoyable to watch.. i like to see things happening. not leads by 10 or 15 or 20 seconds...whats the race in that? thats cars on a country road...
