So I ve seen alot of people getting mad lately when it comes to the subject of Rayman Origins. I truly don't think we should.
1. The game is being made by a small team.
2. Quallity should always come first.
3. They most likely are going to delay it and launch it on march , Why? Easy
1. They most likely have decided after popular demand, to delay the game so to have various ports instead of just having episode one come out for ps3 and xboxlive first. By doing this A) we all get to enjoy the experince at the same time.
B) We get what we paid for.
C)Ubi ends up making more of a profit then apposed to just two platforms for the initial release.
Also rember The Ubi Art Engine, most likely they where far enough in devlopment with it to where they decided lets keep back Rayman Origins so that we can release both togther as well as setting the community page for ubi art, which I assume will be runned by the U PLay service since there is a section when you open such application that is entitled share, even though you can't share and this feature for now is not in effect.
Worst case scenario could be though that due to its well recived first look, Ubi might have decided to turn this into a block buster, thus repeating history when Rayman 2 was going to be a 2d platformer and later got delayed only to show its butt in 3d years later.
Lets rember just cause Rayman Raving Rabbids orginal idea got scrapped dosn't mean the engine was, and we could end up seeing a 3d platformer of origins instead of the orginally thought 2d platformer.
But agian this are all just ideas that came to mind.
Those are my reasons, feel free to add what you think and no flamming other peoples ideas?
So anyhow do comment.
I was thinking (and this is the most random thought that came to mind):
What if this was a dummy project? Like if Ubisoft was trying to bring back Rayman in small forms (i.e. Rayman DSi), and used this to get the people who don't know about the real Rayman to go look him up. Then they cease work on the project, and later make a completely new Rayman game.
Without a doubt the least likely thing in the world, but it was just something that flew into my head.
Indeed that too could be true, it has happened with a few games in the past. Theres also been fake demo mock ups in games such as Sims 2.
Who knows maybe Ubisoft could even end up releasing what we thought was canned, the orginal Rayman 4 concept O_O.
On a sidenote, I am getting 2 gigs of ram for my pc today, finally Gta 4 might actually run ;P.
Why would they want to use Rayman Origins trailers to get attention for another game? Why wouldn't they just make trailers for the game they're actually planning to release? Why waste time and money developing and advertising a project that they plan to scrap, despite the strong positive response it has received? Your theory makes no sense.Originally posted by ArbiterX13:

It could be ether, we'll just have to wait and seeWhy would they want to use Rayman Origins trailers to get attention for another game?
