Could have been one of my best screenies if it wasn't for the action camera.

This is what happened when I tried to escape from the middle of a convoy in mid 41. Thought I'd suicidally try the deck gun as I was being asdic'd and depth charged wherever I went.

Needless to say I wasn't looking where I was going.

In all honesty..what I would have done is then to get OFF of the sub, with my crew, and take my sword and go around killing everyone while yelling like a mad man, capture the captain and his booty and take it back to the King of Spain.

Exactly Gunnersman. Why hasn't someone created a piracy mod?. Waggle the mouse to swordfight etc. I'm sure there are plenty of bananas on board to be plundered.

Blackbeard the pirate would stick lit cannon fuses in his beard before boarding an enemy ship......
A fifty strong, hungry, psychotic and battle weary sub crew with torpedo detonators in their beards boarding a destroyer with a desperate look in their eyes.......Abandon ship.

...I'm liking this, replace those MG 43s in the conning towers, they're useless, put a scabbard rack there instead.

...Put a large wooden mast on your U-Boat, so you can properly "Swing Aboard"

...They'll be bananas to be had, and none of those spoiled ones either 'matey! argggh! Torpedoes be D a m ned, Where's me sword!

(note to BDU...we require at least 50 detonators above our combat load and need bigger 'Knives' to cut the beef you pack us out with)

Actuly ... It wasn't Cannon Fuses.. It was his Beard he lit.. He used to Wax them up (Like a candle) Just a FYI
