    Nice and thanks GreyFox5.

PT 171 was an 80' Elco with hull number 3432. The keel was laid 29.9.42, launched 14.12.42 and placed in service 30.12.42. Out of service, stripped and destroyed 11.11.45. It was with RON 10.

    Info from:

    Allied Coastal Forces of WW2
Vol. II: Vosper MTBs & US Elco

    John Lambert & Al Rose
    ISBN 1-55750-035-5

    Publisher: NIP

Expensive but worth it. A very detailed book and worth reading/buying.

    Vol I is
Allied Coastal Forces of WWII, Farimile Marine Company Designs and US Submarine Chasers
